Adjustable louver screens feature slats that can be tilted manually or via motor to control light and airflow. Open them fully for maximum ventilation, close them for total privacy, or set any angle in between. Fixed batten screens have slats at a permanent angle (typically 45° or 60°), delivering consistent shade and privacy with no moving parts. Choose adjustable screens for spaces requiring flexibility like patios and pool enclosures. Opt for fixed screens for simpler, low-maintenance applications such as decorative facades, balcony screening, and boundary fencing.

KAKADU outdoor louver screens use 6063-T5 aluminum alloy for both the slats and frame, with powder-coated finishes in standard RAL colors or custom Dulux options. The coating delivers UV resistance, corrosion protection, and colorfastness rated to 2,000+ hours. For coastal or high-humidity environments, marine-grade powder coating with added corrosion inhibitors is available. Posts are made of galvanized steel or aluminum to ensure long-term structural integrity without rust or warping.

Yes. KAKADU louver screens are engineered to withstand wind loads up to 120 km/h (Beaufort 12) when installed correctly with the recommended post spacing and foundation anchors. The open louver design reduces wind load compared to solid walls by allowing air to pass through. For high-wind coastal areas, we recommend the fixed batten screen with additional bracing and deeper post foundations. Adjustable louver screens can be set to the open position during storms to minimize wind pressure.

All warranties require proper installation per our guidelines and normal use conditions.

Standard configurations (stock colors, standard sizes) typically ship within 15-20 business days after order confirmation. Custom sizes, special colors, or laser-cut patterns may require 25-35 business days. We recommend placing orders 6-8 weeks before your desired installation date to account for production, shipping, and any customs clearance for international orders.
